Type at professional speeds without aggravating pre-existing forearm pain with FiTchucks, a comfortable, lightweight tool you hold in your hands. FiTchucks orients your arms and hands into a healthy, neutral position while also shifting typing action to the robust muscles of the upper arms and shoulders (and away from the more fragile tissues of the forearms, wrists and fingers).

Each pair of FiTchucks is carefully handcrafted in western Massachusetts. Pencils are made from recycled newspaper. (Grip trim color, shown here in red, will vary.)
Typing with FiTchucks necessitates repeated movement of the elbows and shoulders and a slight downward tilt of the head and neck (to scan the keyboard). If you have pain or discomfort in these areas, or in your wrists, please consult a physician before trying FiTchucks.
Several months of typing will wear/shorten pencil erasers. Worn erasers are easily replaced with standard pencil eraser caps—two caps included with purchase! Be sure pencil erasers are worn or cut them to 1/3rd of their original length before applying eraser caps. This will prevent pencil erasers from breaking off inside of the caps. Please see demo video below ("Shorten Pencil Erasers Before Applying Eraser Caps").
With practice, type 40+ words-per-minute.
Wear pencil erasers down by typing, or cut them, BEFORE applying eraser caps (so pencil erasers don't break off inside the caps).
Slide adjustment bead until it sits just behind your neck, then tie a knot behind the bead to set length. (Best practice is to set length so that tops of grips sit just below the collar bones.)
Eraser caps with a flat edge work better than those with a sharp edge. Sharp-edged caps can be trimmed with scissors to create a flat surface.
Best practice is to twist on (and off) eraser caps while FiTchucks are braced on a steady surface like a table.
In the unlikely event your adjustment bead slides off the neck cord, use a piece of thread to reattach.
Try placing a rolled towel beneath the back end of your keyboard—this works for laptops too. Two 2x3 foot lengths of non-slip rug padding are rolled and secured with two elastic hair ties for a keyboard propping cushion in this demo video.
